How to Eliminate Tiredness

At some point on a busy day we all hit the period in time where our workload exceeds our energy levels, and this is usually when our mental as well as physical efforts suffer. Tiredness can be the result of any number of reasons, and the sad part is that some of them can easily be remedied with a little good old-fashioned common sense. Of course, the best way to eliminate tiredness is to prevent it from presenting in the first place, but for the sake of this article, we will assume that you blew that chance, so now we need to address how to eliminate the exhaustion that is already present.

There are various measures that can be undertaken to prevent tiredness. One of the most common mistakes that most people make in their attempt to eliminate tiredness is to overload their systems with sugar or caffeine, especially from commercial energy drinks. While these may help for a short time, eventually the sugar and caffeine wear off and you are left with either the jitters from the caffeine or an energy crash when the sugar has run it’s course. If you choose to go this route, at least choose and energy drink made of natural ingredients loaded with vitamins. A much better choice would be to eat a piece of fruit that contains natural sugars that is actually healthy in a number of ways.

You can eliminate tiredness during the day by getting up and moving around if you are sitting for an extended period. This gets the blood flowing and your heart pumping a little quicker, which in turn gets more oxygen to your brain by the increased blood flow. The key to eliminating tiredness is to stay mentally alert, and this all begins in your brain. This can be as simple as bending over at the waist as though you are tying your shoelaces for five seconds to increase blood flow. Another great way to eliminate tiredness is to take several very deep breaths for 20 seconds, exhaling slowly. The more oxygen in your body the more oxygen in your bloodstream, the more oxygen in your bloodstream the more oxygen goes to your brain, increasing alertness.

The best way to eliminate tiredness is to consume a well-balanced diet on a regular basis. It is nearly impossible to eliminate tiredness living on a diet of donuts, potato chips and soda. This is especially true if a person has an active lifestyle or a physically demanding job. Not only does the Human Body require sleep for recuperation, but proper food eaten today will help determine your energy level tomorrow.
